Loin (oops Lion) in the Lion City

Looks like the irresistible Mr C will be in the lion city next week. These stupid Ajit jokes always pop into my head when I hear the word Lion for some reason. Except that he always used to pronounce Lion as Loin- which as you all know is something completely else.

Talking about Loins, one of my friends from Lo(i)ndon has gotten so enraged with recent inane comments on his inane blog that he has enabled comment moderation. So I guess we are now unable to post any comments on his blog unless these comments comply with his aka big brother's sensibilities.

Kinda takes the whole free out of free speech doesn't it?

Inane Chat Inc. is a highly successful enterprise with several million hits everyday (without the eyeball multiple factor). With success comes responsibility and Inane Chat Inc. aims to be a socially resposible netizen. Inane Chat Inc. treats every visitor to their website as a stakeholder in the organisation.

Inane Chat Inc. recently noticed that comments placed on its website were not only giving conflicting opinions about its stakeholders but also used as a forum to discuss topics not related to the operations of Inane Chat Inc. This was adversely affecting the reputation of Inane Chat Inc. and drawing negative publicity for the company and its stakeholders and it felt these comments were infringing on its CSR principles.

To uphold its values of CSR Inane Chat Inc. after considerable deliberation within the organisation decided to moderate comments.

The board of Inane Chat would like to assure you that this is not a permanent measure. Over a period of time Inane Chat Inc. will remove the moderation. Inane Chat Inc. welcomes all its stakeholders to contribute to its success and promises that the comments will be placed ASAP.

Best Regards,
Founder, CEO, Chairman, Director of Editing, Director of Marketing, and Director of Communications,
Inane Chat Inc.

Inane Chat Inc. is a leading website and a pioneer in the area of educating its readers with information that lacks sense or substance in a friendly, casual manner.
